PC-12.2 Ultra D-Max inkjet canvas was created specifically for use in professional quality Black and White photographic applications requiring a canvas substrate. There is simply no canvas on the market today which can rival its ability to create a Black and White image which clearly articulates the deep blacks, multiple gray scales and tonal richness found in traditional silver halide based photographic images. While focused on Black and White applications, this canvas also produces stunning color imagery with razor sharp resolution, remarkable color depth and density, clear chromacity and excellent soft tone color transition for high bokeh areas. Its water resistance, soft matte finish, and rapid dry time -- coupled with superior cutting, stretching and mounting characteristics, will make this canvas the clear choice for professional photographers desiring an ultra premium canvas application.

Inks
Optimized for pigmented inks, the water resistant inkjet coating provides excellent longevity of printed images, maintains a high degree of ultraviolet resistance and facilitates the production of vivid images with superb color gamut. Dye based inks also work exceptionally well and while maintaining excellent vibrancy, tend to show lower long term ultraviolet resistance.

Handling & Storage  
Avoid fingerprints on unprinted media as natural skin oils may impede image perfection. Store in cool, dry conditions around 70ºF and 20-60% relative humidity. Always place in plastic sleeve when not in use. Never let roll lay flat on its side for extended period as damage could occur, store standing on end or suspended in box with end caps.

Finishing & Mounting  
May be sealed with solvent based or waterborne varnishes. All varnishes must be tested to ensure compatibility with this product. This canvas should be sealed prior to stretching and mounting. When mounting on canvas stretcher bars, sharp wooden edges should be smoothed and rounded to preclude undue stress on the canvas or image when gallery wrapping. Do not overstretch!
